Evan Carnahan

Evan Carnahan was a Masters student in the Computational Science, Engineering, and Mathematics program at UT. He is interested in understanding ice dynamics through data integration with computational models. He worked on a project integrating ICESat-2 with historic altimetry and velocity data to invert for glacier-bedrock friction. Evan grew up with glaciers out his living room window in Alaska and received his BS in Mathematics from the University of Alaska Southeast. He is now doing his doctorate at UT in Engineering to understand the brain.
